One of Miskolc’s most popular markets is the Antiques Fair, held on the first Sunday of every month. From the early morning until the early afternoon, the pedestrian streets and squares of the city centre come alive with a wide variety of antiques and vintage treasures. The market stretches along Déryné Street and also occupies some of the city’s larger squares, including Erzsébet Square and Városház Square.
The event is not only enjoyable for collectors and shoppers. The fascinating array of objects and memorabilia from the past is a spectacle in itself. Street musicians also add to the lively atmosphere, making the Antiques Fair a unique and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.
